Edgar and Cortney dive into the "Super You" and how the person you built to survive your traumas can turn against you later in life.
We are all walking projections of our experiences. Who we are, can be contributed to our traumas moreso than anything else. As youth, we subconsciously build a "super us" that can deal with and survive these realities. These versions of us take us a long way and bring us through that period of time. The problem arises when that "you" no longer fits in the world that the new "you" resides in. In this episode, Edgar and Cortney wade through the process of essentially killing that version of self off and absorbing it much like the process of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly. Strap in, take this journey with them, and ask yourself are you in control of the "Super You" or is it in control of you? Lets evolve!
