Episode Notes

Graduation season is upon us.   This is always a great time of year because friends and family get together to celebrate the scholastic rise in rank by their loved ones.  No matter the level of completion, graduation day is set aside soley for the graduates to receive their adulation for the successful conclusion of their respective levels.   Most can all agree that it feels good to be recognized and celebrated. Even if it has never happened for you, you can imagine that it's a pretty good feeling to be praised for  conquering a goal.   If this is in fact the case, why do we wait for special occasions or holidays to honor and celebrate ourselves and eachother?  The answer is simple:  We have been habitually  programmed to do so.  The great thing about habits is that WE create them. So, imagine a world in which we make a habit of celebrating ourselves and one another for small wins, or for completing small goals, or just because!  Imagine a world where we sometimes honored and praised our kids even when they mess up!  Imagine being celebrated just for being the best version of yourself.  We MUST make these types of scenarios our new habits.  These celebrations don't have to involve the pageantry of graduation, they don't have to involve a bunch of people, or maybe, for you they do.  Either way  it's necessary that we combat all of the negative energy and ridicule in this world with uplifting and celebratory acts towards ourselves and one another. Tune in, enjoy and EVOLVE!
